The Lord Mayor of Liverpool, Councillor Malcolm Kennedy, attended a civic lighting on the last night of Chanucah.

Michael Ellenbogen lit the menorah before Cllr Kennedy said how happy he was to be among friends celebrating the last night of the festival.

The Lord Mayor then distributed chocolate Chanucah gelt to all the children.

On the other nights, Chabad Lubavitch’s Rabbi Avremi Kievman performed the lighting.
