RUTH Plaut is looking for descendants of the Shlosberg family.

They lived at 398 Bury New Road in Manchester and employed Selma Plaut as a domestic.

Selma, Ruth's mother, emigrated to England in 1939 from Essen, Germany.

In 1873, Nathan Sunderland married Rebecca Jacobson, and they had 5 children - Harris, Jack, Annie (Horowitz), Sarah (Ginsberg) and Rachel (Rosenberg).

Family tree

SUSAN Winter, of New Jersey, has been working on her family tree since 1978, but has struggled to find information on her grandfather Joseph Gill's birth in Leeds.

Joseph was born on July 10, 1906 and his brother Jacob on September 23, 1907.

Their parents were Hyman and Rose Silver Gill.

Teresa Kirchner, of South Carolina, wants to locate the work history of her mother-in-law Gerda Ruth Meyer during her years in Britain, 1949-1952.
