FOOTBALL star Jacob Ross had the crowds cheering on Saturday as he celebrated his barmitzvah.
Mearns Castle High School pupil Jacob, a Glasgow Rangers fan, is captain for Maccabi U-14s and was the top goalscorer for the 2008-09 season.
The son of Mandy and Garry Ross, of Newton Mearns, Jacob was barmitzvah at Newton Mearns Hebrew Congregation.
Joining in the celebrations were brothers Gabriel, 14, and Gideon, three, sister Jessica, 10, and grandparents Ruthie Sakol and Gloria and Irving Joseph.
Guests travelled from London, Northampton, Dublin and America to attend.
