THE hustle and bustle of Haifa’s Hadar Talpiot Market is much the same as most markets anywhere.
There are jovial vendors vocally vying to sell wares neatly stacked up on trestle tables set up in the street, or in small pokey almost holes-in-the-wall spaces and cramped shops lining narrow alleyways and dotted everywhere in the surrounding — but not much wider — streets.
