Wheely good! Old cycles live on in Alan’s museum

WHEN Alon Wolf was a young boy, he was well known for his love of riding his bicycle around the 1947-founded agricultural community of Moshav Herev Le’et, where he grew up and still lives.

As the years passed, Alon also became well known for avidly collecting discarded mechanical bits and pieces found in and around neighbouring farms, and later on for his ever expanding and superbly eclectic collection of bicycles, tricycles and more.

Alon’s love of riding bikes, collecting and diligently restoring other people’s cast-offs as well as having a sharp eye for other collector’s items on sale, resulted in many a two-wheeled wonder hanging on the walls around the family home, understandably frustrating his wife no end!
